Sarah Maguire Musiał, LMHC
Sarah holds a master’s of science degree in professional counseling from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children with co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. As a trauma-informed and EMDR-trained therapist, Sarah specializes in helping individuals overcome difficult life experiences. She has additional experience treating substance abuse at the outpatient and IOP levels from her time at TriCounty Human Services in Winter Haven, FL. Sarah has special training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Relationship Therapy, and Trust Based Relationship Interventions (TBRI). Sarah has several years’ experience in an academic and educational setting assisting Polk State’s Corporate College in providing training to incumbent and unemployed/underemployed individuals. Sarah currently serves as a mental health facilitator for the Polk County Public School board, primarily in the Winter Haven area. Outside of her clinical and educational experience, Sarah enjoys being creative through web design, building computers, and painting.
